Speaking - Students discussed self-portraits on page 57 and the personality of each artist. They listened to 3 of the artists and identified them.
Reading part 3 - Students did the reading activity on page 58/59 and discussed the language and vocabulary in the text.
Grammar - Avoiding repetition. Students did the exercises on avoiding repetition on page 60.
Use of English - Students did parts 1,2 & 3 of Use of English test 4 book 1 and, once finished, discussed the answers with the teacher. At the same time pairs of students did speaking part 2 activity (page 54)with teacher under exam conditions.
Speaking - In groups of 4, students carried out a discussion on survival in difficult conditions in a forest. They chose items rescued from an aeroplane and categorised them according to their usefulness. At the end they were awarded points for each item they choose.
